Career Before the Bench
Justice Chua began his legal career in 1984. He also served in the Supreme Court Registry for three years before becoming State Counsel and Deputy Public Prosecutor in the Attorney-General's Chambers in 1989. Justice Chua left for private practice in 1990 and became a Partner of the law firm, Lee & Lee in 1991. In 1998, he joined the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Pte Ltd (renamed as GIC Pte Ltd in 2013), where he later became the General Counsel
